Terms of service

Yellowforge provides access to AI models, including uncensored variants. We are a tool provider, not a content creator. You are solely responsible for the prompts you write, the inputs you upload, the characters you train, and the outputs you generate. We maintain a short, non-negotiable list of prohibitions described below. Outside that list, how you use the service is at your sole discretion and risk.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Yellowforge complies with the laws of your jurisdiction, including copyright, right of publicity, defamation, privacy, and content laws. We do not pre-screen, approve, or endorse user-generated content. The existence of a model or a feature inside Yellowforge is not an endorsement of any particular use of it.

Age

You must be 18 years of age or older to use Yellowforge.

Hard prohibitions, no exceptions

• No child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, real or generated
• No non-consensual intimate imagery of real, identifiable people
• No content depicting or facilitating terrorism
• No content used to commit fraud, identity theft, or impersonation
• No content used to harass, threaten, or intimidate identifiable individuals

Violation results in immediate account termination, deletion of the offending content, and reporting to the relevant authorities where legally required. CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to French authorities. Terrorism content is reported to French authorities and to applicable EU mechanisms.

Other prohibitions

• No automated abuse, including scraping, credential stuffing, and denial of service
• No reverse engineering, decompiling, or circumventing our technical protections
• No reselling generation capacity without our express written permission

Beyond the hard prohibitions listed above, content moderation is reactive, not proactive. We respond to valid takedown requests, DMCA-equivalent notices under French and EU law, EU Digital Services Act (DSA) notice-and-action requests, and law enforcement requests. We do not actively screen user generations.

To report a violation, submit a DSA notice, or submit a takedown request, write to contact@yellowforge.app with the URL or generation ID and a description of the issue. We acknowledge receipt within 72 hours and respond with a decision within 14 days, in line with DSA Article 16 timelines.

You grant Yellowforge a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, process, transmit, and display your prompts, inputs, and generations as needed to operate the service. This license exists only so we can run the service for you and ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to backups and the retention periods listed in our privacy policy.

You retain ownership of your generations to the extent that ownership is recognized under applicable law. The legal status of AI-generated content is unsettled and varies by jurisdiction; we make no claim about copyrightability in any particular country.

• Accounts that violate the hard prohibitions are terminated immediately and without warning.
• Other violations receive one warning before suspension.
• You may delete your account at any time from account settings.
• On termination, your content is deleted within 30 days, except where retention is legally required (for example, invoicing records under French and EU tax law).

What credits are

Credits represent a prepaid entitlement to use Yellowforge AI generation services at the per-model credit cost published at the time of the generation. Credits are not stored currency, are not redeemable for cash, are not transferable between accounts, and do not earn interest.

Subscriptions and renewals

• Subscriptions are billed in advance for the period selected (monthly or annual) and auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
• Monthly subscribers receive their plan’s monthly credit grant on each renewal. Annual subscribers receive twelve times the monthly credit grant at the start of the annual period, valid through the end of that period.
• Subscription grants and credit-pack purchases accumulate in the same balance and do not expire while your account remains in good standing.
• You may cancel a subscription at any time from account settings or the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; access continues until then.

Refunds

• Credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by mandatory consumer protection law.
• EU consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU. This right is lost once you begin using the service (consuming credits or generating content) within the withdrawal period, which you explicitly agree to when subscribing.
• If Yellowforge discontinues the service entirely, unused credits from your most recent purchase are refunded pro-rata.

Pricing and per-model credit cost changes

Yellowforge sets the credit price for each generation model and may adjust those per-model credit costs with at least 30 days notice (by email or in-app notice). When a per-model credit cost changes:

• Credits you have already purchased remain valid and usable. They do not expire, are not voided, and are not retroactively re-priced.
• At the new rate, the same balance of credits may yield more or fewer generations than before. We do not guarantee a fixed number of generations per credit, only that the credit cost at the time of generation is the cost charged.

Subscription prices (the dollar price of a plan) may also change. New prices apply to renewals at least 30 days after notice. Existing prepaid periods are not affected. If you do not accept a price change, you may cancel before the next renewal.

Model and service availability

The set of available generation models may change. We reserve the right to add, remove, or replace specific models with at least 30 days notice for removals. If a model you regularly use is removed, your credit balance is unaffected and remains usable on other available models.

In the event of permanent service discontinuation, we will give at least 60 days notice and refund the unused portion of any active subscription period and any unused credit-pack purchases made in the 12 months prior to the notice, pro-rata.

Taxes

Prices displayed include applicable VAT or sales tax where required. Stripe handles tax collection automatically based on your billing address.

Yellowforge is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim liability for user-generated content to the maximum extent permitted by law. You agree to indemnify and hold Yellowforge harmless against third-party claims arising from your use of the service, including claims related to your prompts, inputs, trained characters, or generated outputs.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under EU or French law.

These terms are governed by the laws of France.

1. Disputes are first attempted informally. Write to contact@yellowforge.app.
2. If informal resolution fails, the parties will attempt mediation.
3. If mediation fails, disputes are submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in France.

For EU consumers, mandatory consumer protection rights are not waived by these terms. EU consumers may also access the European Commission’s online dispute resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or via in-app notice. Continued use of the service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
